What is “HEART?”

“Heart” is a small and caring support group, held in a loving atmosphere, to assist women who have been part of an abortion experience.

This group is co-facilitated by one woman who has experienced an abortion, and one woman who has not.

Part of the support you’ll find comes from the fact that you’re not alone…there are others who can truly understand your pain…others who can help you find healing.

Our Goal…

is to help women come to an understanding of and healing from the effects of post abortion syndrome as it relates to them personally.

What is post abortion syndrome?

Post Abortion Syndrome can occur after an abortion experience. Symptoms may include:

· Depression

· Anxiety

· Lowered self-esteem

· Dependencies on alcohol, chemicals, food or work

· Nightmares

· Distrust

· Flashbacks

· Unforgiveness and more

When does the “HEART” group meet?

A convenient time is set as each group forms. The group will meet each week for seven weeks. Each group will meet at Health Resources LifeCare Center at 126 East Lincoln, in downtown Fergus Falls, MN.
